Durham Professional Services is delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join our well-regarded client based in Stirling.

Our Award-winning client’s office is an easy commute for anyone in the central belt of Scotland. The Assistant Project Manager will join a team of project managers and senior project managers who provide and deliver successful pre-construction and construction phase consultancy services to the renewable industry. 
 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake pre-planning, pre-construction and construction phase services in connection with renewable developments, providing advice to all parts of the business
  • Prepare and submit various documentations including but not limited to:
    • Tenders
    • Technical documentation
    • Contract preparation and management
    • Planning condition discharging
  • Work with key stakeholders (client, planning authorities, SEPA, SNH/EA, local communities, utilities, highway authorities etc.) in delivering construction management services
  • Administration relating to the projects including management of project budgets, risk registers and action plans
  • Ad hoc assessments and tasks associated with project management as directed by the project team involved

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or project management discipline
  •  A sound knowledge of Construction 
  • Strong effective communication skills with ability to influence
  • Good IT Skills
  • Exposure to dealing with multiple clients and stakeholders
  • Accustomed to working to tight deadlines in an efficient manner
  • Willingness to travel
  • Full UK driving licence
  • It would be an advantage to have experience of
    • Renewable Energy Construction Experience
    • Previous working experience within a BoP Civil or Electrical Contractor
