Durham Professional Services are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Professional for our International client on a contract for an initial 3 months. This role will be remote but could have occasional travel according to project demands.
Details of the role.
- Management of the overall business case for the initiative and it’s constituent sub-Business Cases
- Creation and/or analysis of business cases to support the individual projects within the initiative – including costs, savings, success criteria, assumptions etc.
- Assessment of dependencies of the business cases across multiple projects and initiatives
- Challenge and updating of financial forecasts and establishing financial tracking processes and templates across the initiative working the transformation finance representatives
- Aligning financial forecasts with project delivery milestones to develop a delivery roadmap
- Capturing and reporting all investment spend and benefits realisation
- All approaches should be aligned with practices across wider Technology Simplification workstream, and initiatives
Experience required
- Financial and/or accounting background preferred
- Experience of managing financial aspects of large programmes (circa. $10m+) – ideally tech
- Good understanding of programme and business financials
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Basic Project Management or PMO experience
- Ability to work independently to set-up meetings, run project working group etc, with minimal oversight
- Basic MS Office skills
