Durham Professional Services is delighted to be recruiting for an Information Security Analyst based in Edinburgh.
Working for a well-known trusted Finance house, this role will suit someone with 2-3 years’ experience since graduation (or similar) in Governance, Risk and Compliance. The main effort with this role initially is third party management and security awareness.
You will be working on the Governance, assessment, monitoring, assurance and management of the Information Security for the client. This role will support the delivery of the Info Sec Strategy, making sure you keep inline with the Global Info Sec Strategy.
You will be knowledgeable and confident in Information Security to be able to consult on any issues, monitoring compliance, policies and be the guiding light on the global standards across the business.
You must have experience working with internal customer and 3rd Party providers.
Skills required
- Information Security, including Governance, Risk and Compliance.
- Experience of developing and managing an Information Security user awareness programme.
- Good stakeholder management skills, with an ability to understand and communicate technical detail to a non-technical audience.
- Risk assessment/risk management skills.
- Ability to learn and develop within a role with support from a mentor.
