M365 Engineer
Durham Professional Services is working with our client to recruit a M365 Engineer. The M365 Engineer will be a leading expert on M365 and is responsible for providing operational engineering and support for the M365 environment. The position designs and tests plan to ensure the stability and integrity of the systems, troubleshoots and analyses failures to minimise outages and service interruptions relating to all the O365 services. They will be responsible for administrating, maintaining, and deploying various new services, M365-based business solutions as well as establishing standards, processes, and configuration guidelines. This role is being offered remotely for the right candidate.
The Job:
- Implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud technologies and services such as Intune, MAM/ MDM, Autopilot, Windows Virtual Desktop, etc.
- Implementing and designing with the security teams Conditional Access/ Tenant policies, M365 mobile device management and Intune.
- Communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.
- Establish and perform the O365 best practices for providing unassailable solutions – both technical and non-technical.
- Perform administrative maintenance on the O365 services to ensure optimal service response times and proper licence and rights allocations.
- Work with various IT teams as required to support O365 related initiatives.
- Perform product testing and integration testing when needed.
- Identify security risks to our O365 environment and services and suggest mitigation.
- Developing and promoting standard operations documentation such as procedures, check lists, Knowledge Base Articles and user instructions.
- Ensure systems adherence and compliance with Arnold Clarks security standards and practices.
- Analysing designing and implementing new technologies for applications within the O365 environment.
- Put together detailed strategies for new applications and technologies.
- Performing root cause analysis and repair of technical issues and trends to include assisting team members as needed.
The Person:
- "Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate" accredited.
- Microsoft Azure Architect certifications desirable but not essential.
- Experience designing and implementing Intune, MDM, autopilot.
- Demonstrated experience of implementing cloud technologies (O365, Azure, AWS).
- Experience with M365 support.
- Must have experience working with M365/ Teams Mobile (Intune/ BYOD / MAM / MDM).
