Durham Professional Services is delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic Marketing Analyst. This role will involve researching and identifying ways to expand the current client base.   Strategically aware, you will act as the focus point for market information and provide key business and market analysis to internal and external customers, helping to develop an effective corporate strategy. 

You will support the continued growth of our client through the provision of consultancy research and thought leadership and provide an insight into the market developments and new market opportunities. This role can be based in Stirling or Dumfries and Galloway.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Support the business development and marketing activities within the company including regular reporting on opportunities, business development activities within the company including CRM analysis, bid/tender analysis, management Information, lead generation and direct marketing
  • Maintain and provide regular updates to a market database covering a variety of energy sectors and projects globally
  • Monthly reporting of database and benchmarking statistics
  • Provide supporting market and economic analysis and market forecasting services to business plan preparation
  • Conduct and analyse employee engagement surveys, customer and public attitude surveys
  • Collect, collate and present post project customer feedback
  • Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
  • Develop tools, frameworks and processes to help the company to develop it’s market knowledge
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisitions

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Degree level qualification 
  • Work experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role
  • Expertise in research methodology
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on the implications and actions resulting from analysis of research data
  • It would be desirable to have a degree in Market Analysis and experience of the Renewables Industry but this is not essential
