Durham Professional Services is delighted to be working in partnership with our client to recruit a Senior Data Analyst. Located in the beautiful town of Dumfries, in the south west of Scotland, this role will appeal to candidates located close to Dumfries or those of us who have moved away but would desire a return to the region. The role is a permanent one and will require candidates to be based onsite when allowed to do so. Until then the role will be WFH

The Senior data Analyst will join our client’s  Business Transformation Team who are responsible for the delivery of Ambition 2025 Business Transformation Programme.

Key Skills Required

  • You are educated to Degree level in business / digital / analysis management, or appropriate. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of relevant commercial experience of manipulating and collating data from multiple sources to answer questions used for making business decisions. You will have experience of commercial Database Management Systems and will enjoy and have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex tasks and projects
  • You will be a strong team worker who is outcome focused and a good communicator across all levels of the College. Ability to motivate, and to inspire creativity in the achievement of objectives
  • As an analytical problem solver, and influencer you will maintain a high attention to detail, and will be adaptive, creative, and flexible in approach to new activities and challenges.
  • Additionally, you will be:
  • Able to initiate and develop innovative solution to data and business process issues.
  • Able to manage small to medium projects and associated governance obligations
  • Deliver efficient and effectiveness results
  • Adhere to, promote and innovate operational best practice thorough formal governance.
  • Manage direct and inspire matrixed and dedicated team members
  • Seek continuous improvement in data and MIS obligations along with interfacing disciplines
