Senior Data Business Analyst - WFH - 6 month contract

Durham Professional Services is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Senior Data Business Analyst on initial 6-month contract.

As an experienced Business Analyst, candidates should have experience of working within a project environment, providing business analysis services and assisting in identifying and recommending options for new/improved business processes and systems for project delivery.

This role is to be the Senior Data Business Analyst on the Data Migration project within a Digital Transformation programme. 

This data migration project will deliver migrated data for an implementation of Dynamics CRM. 

  • Work with Data Migration Business Stakeholders including Data Owners and Data stewards to capture high level requirements for the Data Migration project. 
  • Ensure that Data Quality Requirements are captured, providing a definition of what ‘good’ and ‘bad’ data means for project stakeholders.
  • Work with Architects and Solution Designers to capture requirements for specific project workstreams, in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria.  The candidate will ensure that requirements are understood, thought through and clearly documented.  The candidate should have experience working on mid / large scale data migration projects in the past and be comfortable following agile principles and ways of working. 
  • Excellent communication skills, be personable and confident, and can build fantastic working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • A good eye for detail, task orientated, and a completer / finisher.
  • Data Analysis.

Finally, candidates should be definite self-starters and used to working in a dynamic fast paced environment with the ability to make connections and develop relationships quickly. It is essential to have first class stakeholder management skills.
