Durham Professional Services is now looking for an investment client who has a current opening for a Technical Design Lead (TDL) to join their Architecture team.
This role will be joining an established team who would welcome a TDL with open arms.
My client works across the board of solution design, but this will role begin in the applications area then moving over to different disciplines until you have the full solutions including infrastructure etc, in your tool set.
Potentially this role would suit someone who has the ambition to move into the Solutions Architecture space.
You should have a strong technical understanding and if you have experience of digital transformation that would be advantageous.
Experience as follows:

Experienced Senior Engineer

Wintel support and delivery experience – Nice to have

Knowledge of information/data aspects of a broad range of technologies used in IT (e.g. line-of-business applications, analytics, collaboration technologies, CRM, mobile, web)
Knowledge and skills in the following:

Cloud service experience - AWS and\or Azure

Traditional Infrastructure – Servers, Storage, Wintel, HP-UX, SAN Storage, Networking, Telephony, backup/DR and virtualization platforms

Modern Workplace, remote working, O365 Productivity stack

Security infrastructure and best practise
-
Integration hub – Mulesoft
Also any understanding of Invest cloud and Charles River would stand you in good stead.
The client is currently working in a hybrid working environment with the team scattered between Glasgow, Liverpool, and London. They have Anchor days where you are expected to be in the office and eventually, they will work towards being in the office 2 days a week but at the moment they work a grown up way of working and the decisions of office work are dealt with on a team level.
