Technology Trainer         

 

Durham Professional Services is delighted to be working on behalf of our client to recruit a highly skilled Trainer. This role is working for our client in Glasgow but given the current restrictions there will be an element of WFH and office based as required.

 

This role will be to provide comprehensive technology training and support staff in all offices across EMEA/US. To develop and maintain quality training materials.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality training to new starters and existing staff on an ad hoc, scheduled and rollout basis via a variety of methods including: instructor led, 1-2-1 coaching and remote/online training
  • Provide flexible learning support to all departments, offices and levels that meets predetermined needs and expectations
  • Consistently develop and maintain quality training materials including online resources to support the IT projects and day to day training needs
  • Perform training administration and other ad hoc duties as required
  • Strong client service and team focus
  • Support team projects

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Previous experience in an IT training role
  • Ability to learn new courseware and concepts quickly in order to provide training
  • Experience and knowledge of:
    • Practice Management Systems
    • Document Management Systems
    • Client Relationship Management systems
  • Proven track record of delivering MS Office applications training to an 2 advanced level
  • Ability to design and create training materials with an understanding of instructional design and best practice
  • Previous experience developing eLearning material
  • Knowledge of learning methodologies and learning styles
  • Experience of training needs analysis and evaluation methods
  • Experienced in and able to deliver in a variety of training styles including: instructor led, 1-2-1 coaching and remote/online training
  • Have the credibility, presence and presentation skills to influence at all levels
