Durham Professional Services is delighted to be working on behalf of our multinational client, based in the heart of Glasgow, to recruit a Test Analyst. This role has been determined to be Inside !R35.this is a UK based roleand will require regular travel to Glasgow as required, daily commutable candidates are therefore preferred..

Key activities for this role include:

Reporting to the IT Test Manager or Senior Test Analyst, on a day to day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Supporting the delivery of testing on client projects and change deliverables, from early project engagement, estimation, planning and preparation through to test execution and reporting
  • Acting as a member of the IT Test Team to define and agree responsibilities across the whole test phase of a project
  • Use a variety of test techniques including but not limited to functional and non-functional, scripted, exploratory and risk-based
  • Act as a conduit between the project or functional team and end users
  • Providing an Independent factual statement of the quality of deliverables
  • Task management responsibility (where appropriate) for a team of Test Analysts
  • Contribute to the ongoing Continuous Improvement within the IT Test Team

 

 

To perform this role successfully, it is expected that applicants will have the following key skills and experience: -

  • Has demonstrable knowledge of the recognised phases of Testing (including System Test, IntegrationTesting, User Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, Operational Acceptance Testing, etc)
  • API Testing
  • ReadyAPI / PostMan
  • JSON
  • Knowledge of Virtualised Services/Stubs/Mocks
  • Data Driven API Testing
  • Automated API Testing
