Durham Professional Services is delighted to be working for their investment client based in the UK who are now looking to expand their Architectural Team in the Data Space one a 12 month daily rate contract role (umbrella only as joining an existing team).
This role will be mainly home working with monthly drop ins into the offices based in London, Glasgow or Liverpool (whichever is closest to home).
My client has an architect teams that can turn their hand to anything but the main focus at the moment is Data with a specific knowledge of Snowflake. This role will suit someone who is results driven and enjoys seeing their work in action. You will be working in high level projects direct from the board and you must be able to demonstrate a professional manner at all times.
The essentials:
- Proven experience of working in a Data Architecture capacity, ideally in a similarly sized business, ideally with knowledge of EA and EIA frameworks.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse project, program and portfolio needs, as well as determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems that involve remote and elusive symptoms, often spanning multiple environments in a business area.
- Confident at managing relationships and communicating technical issues and strategy at all levels
- Experience with cloud data platforms, ideally SnowFlake
