Desktop Support Analyst required to join a well-known client based in the outskirts of Edinburgh. This is a First/second line ICT role, and the successful candidate will be required to provide software and hardware support to all client PC and laptop users This role offers a competitive salary, with excellent additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all office desktops (troubleshooting, installation, configuration, applications, anti-virus etc.)
- Administer Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory and Exchange 365.
- Support iPhone/Android devices and desk phone systems (mobile & VoIP).
- Support office printers.
- Be responsible for office hardware, software asset and license management.
- Support video conference systems.
- Support remote access facilities.
- Order supplies for IT office assets.
- Document procedures and systems
Experience and skills required:
Computer/IT Skills:
- Microsoft Windows XP, 7, 10 (essential)
- Microsoft Office 2003, 2010 (essential)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 administration (essential)
- Active Directory and Exchange Server 2003, 2010 administration (essential)
- iPhones/Android management (desirable)
- Veritas BackupExec (desirable)
- Symantec Anti-Virus (desirable)
