Marketing Executive - Hybrid working London - Salary dependent on Experience

Durham Professional Services is delighted to be working exclusively on a new role for a Marketing Executive for a Client based in London. This role will be working in a hybrid fashion (flexible approach of 2 days in the office 3 days at home)
 
My client is looking for a Marketing Executive who has worked in a regulated environment such as Legal, Medical, Investment or Financial. The right candidate should understand the boundaries of working in a regulated environment or if you have worked for an agency who has had regulated clients, I would be keen to hear from you.
 
This role will be responsible for supporting the team on the design and delivery of comprehensive marketing communications which are aligned to the commercial objectives of the business.

Key accountabilities
 
Marketing strategy
  • Understand the target audience, competitor landscape and market for your channel
  • Working closely with stakeholders from the business channels and regional offices to drive marketing strategy, developing integrated marketing plans to support business objectives
  • Work with marketing managers to create programmes that can be integrated and/or leveraged across business channels.
  • Regularly evaluate current programmes and potential new marketing opportunities, to ensure they meet the needs of the business.
  • Provide input into how the overall marketing strategy
 
Marketing delivery
  • Design and deliver marketing communication activity across print, online and social media platforms, including internal communications
  • Manage and deliver bespoke client and partner events
  • Develop local and national targeted advertising campaigns to support business activity
  • Work with the digital team to ensure the channel/programmes have a strong and relevant presence on the website and through social media
  • Identify insights programmes to help marketing and business planning
  • Work closely with PR teams (in house and external) to identify relevant PR opportunities for the channel and spokespeople
  • Draft and/or review award and directory listing submissions to ensure effectiveness of message
  • Oversee the process of managing marketing materials, ensuring rigour and quality from internal teams and third-party suppliers. Identify gaps or improvements to the current suite of marketing materials
  • Apply resource management (suppliers, agencies, budgets) and processes (creative, financial promotions, etc.) to a high standard i.e. accurate and timely
 
Stakeholder management
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders in the business, raising the profile of the marketing function and enhancing effective collaboration
  • Maintain effective and regular internal communications to ensure that relevant stakeholders are kept informed, and engaged, in the marketing programmes
 
Knowledge and skills required
 
—      At least three years experience, ideally within a regulated environment
—      Proven ability to create and deliver successful integrated marketing campaigns
—      Ability to quickly build strong professional relationships
—      Self-motivating, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
—      Close attention to detail
